A current student at Western Washington University with considerable work experience already under her belt, Margaret Loughren most recently worked as a cashier at Dairy Queen in Gig Harbor, Washington. She also spent time as an assistant teacher at Kopachuck Middle School, where she provided support to teachers in the classroom. In addition to grading paper and helping to instruct students, Margaret Loughren prepared and delivered lesson plans.
During her time as a high school student at Gig Harbor High School, Margaret Loughren took a number of AP classes and earned a place in the National Honor Society. She spent several years as the vice president of the Reach/WAYS club, and she continues to participate in the KMS tutoring program. As a volunteer at St. Anthony Hospital, she helped organize the hospital’s workspace and oversaw correspondences including faxes and letters.
In her free time, Margaret Loughren enjoys knitting, reading, and watching movies.
